What do we think of Fastlane frameit?

Editorial review · Fastlane frameit4
frameit is a free, open-source Fastlane action that wraps screenshots in device frames. As part of an established Fastlane pipeline it is friction-free, well documented, and extensively battle-tested. It does exactly one thing — frame an existing image — and does it reliably. The limitation is scope: there is no visual editor, no text-overlay system, no template library, and no way to compose marketing copy onto the screenshot. Teams that already have polished screenshots and only need framing are well served; teams that want to design the full marketing screenshot will outgrow it quickly.

Which one is best for which kind of team?

Screenshots.live

Teams that need more than basic framing — custom designs, text overlays, and API-driven rendering.

Fastlane frameit
